When Rick Omohundro, president and founder of PVG, and Keith Miller met in 1991 they realized they shared a common vision. If you create a state-of-the-art eye care facility and fill it with professional eye care complete with patient education and quality products and services, you will create an unstoppable success story.

Dr. Miller was in the same downtown location the practice had occupied since World War II and business was moving to the busier commerce areas near the interstate. His practice was flat and he realized that he needed to move the practice or business would soon decline. The big challenge ahead for him was how to do it. Would there be enough business to support the expense? How would he go about transforming his practice into the state-of-the-art facility he imagined? How could he avoid costly mistakes?

Rick had helped a number of practitioners in the same position realize their dreams, too. Soon they were scouting land and attaining bids and plans for the new eye care center. In June of 1992, Dr. Miller cut the ribbon on the Miller Eye Care Center in a ceremony coordinated and publicized by the experts of Professional Vision Group. Over the years, PVG has hired and trained his professional eye care team, developed the internal and external marketing strategies that have kept him ahead of the competition, and helped him lay the plans and goals that will keep him ahead in the future.
